How do I create a strong and memorable password?

Passwords are the gateway to access your account. The team at Creating the Team Edge will never ask for your password. But, we do have some tips and tricks to help you create a secure password.

DO:

• Use 12 or more characters in your password.
• Use at least one capital letter, number, and symbol.
• Use a trustworthy password manager to remember your password.
• Make it easy to remember.
• Use random characters where possible.
• Make it hard for others to guess.

DON'T:

• Make it personal to you - hackers can use your social media to guess.
• Write your password elsewhere, such as on a sticky note or word document.
• Share your password with anyone for any reason.
• Use common words or passwords, such as 'P455w0rd1!'.
• Use the same password for multiple websites and applications.
